Twilight

Each sky is unique. Just like the experience of pregnancy, or becoming a mother, or the ending of a loved one’s life, we all experience a tremendous adjustment in these seasons. Each pregnancy or loss is unique, no two experiences are exactly the same. A “natural” event does not equal a seamless transition. However, there is light with the darkness and beauty in the process.

Let’s find that together.

“You cannot, in human experience, rush into the light. You have to go through the twilight into the broadening day before the noon comes and the full sun is upon the landscape.”

Areas of Focus

Life Adjustments

We can all agree, life adjustments are hard. Maybe it’s a move or the start of a new career and all those changes are making you feel overwhelmed. I’ll help you see the big picture. This adjustment you’re feeling is changing your daily life and your experiences.

When you’re in survival mode, it’s hard for you to function effectively. But when you’re supported, things will start to make sense. Together, we’ll develop tools for coping strategies.

Women’s Reproductive Mental Health

What’s your reproductive story? It can be a complex narrative, there are many feelings and thoughts that surround the decision to become a parent or the response to becoming pregnant. Along the journey there may be losses, highs and lows. Our identity can experience shifts along the way, how we see the world and experience it can feel different.  It can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through it alone.

Grief + Loss

This is a vast and deep experience and you may feel like you don’t even recognize yourself anymore.

Grief is an experience that is all consuming. Everything you’re feeling makes sense and it’s also very uncomfortable at the same time. Counseling can be helpful during this time to have a space for yourself to just feel your emotions with support from someone who understands.

With Twilight Counseling, you’re not alone.

Adjusting from the darkness to the light, and back again is no easy feat. It’s difficult to navigate all the significant moments, emotions, thoughts, and changes to your relationships and identity when you’re experiencing a major life event. It can all be overwhelming.

You don’t have to do it alone.
